The Research Of Evaluation And Countermeasure In Coal Industry Effective Competition

Effective competition is posed by Clark.J.M aimed at non-reality of complete competition. It is a mode of industrial organization that is accommodating between scale economics and competition. Effective competition is one of core contents of Industrial Organization Theory.Firstly, this paper demonstrates the importance of effective competition to the development of industry, states the theory and effective competition and the connotation of workable competition in coal industry.Secondly, many academicians have done much work on effective competition in coal industry based on the theory of SCP. But, there are not a complete set of index system to evaluate competition leverage of coal industry. Therefore, this paper establishes effective competition criterion and extracts evaluation indexes based on the research of predecessors. And then, this paper posed principal component analysis and elaborates advantages of principal component analysis applied in effective competition evaluation.Then, this paper evaluates effective competition of coal industry of China, analyses market structure, market conduct, market performance of coal industry in China. Finally, this paper poses countermeasure advice of coal industrial rational development based on the results of evaluation.
