The problems of urban land and urban land-use have been noticed universally by land administration in the recent years in China. On the basis of the analysis of the urban land-use theory, the urban land rent and land price theory, and the relevant studies at home and abroad, the paper exerts the urban space economics and location theory, W.Alonso's bid rent curve, hierarchy rent, service price, absolute land rent, monopolize rent and resemble rent. Depend on these theories, it analyses the influence of land price on the urban land-use from four aspects: land develop, land supply, land intensified utilization and land-use structure. It carries out the empirical study to Nanjing City. The thesis includes 3 parts.In the Part 1, it gives an introduction of this research's objective, meaning and content, the study methods and sequence for thesis, and it also defines the concept and connotation of urban land price, urban land-use respectively. Firstly, there are four land-use schools introduced. Then the paper indicates it will base on the school of urban space economics and location theory, and it illuminates the urban land rent and land price theory on the basis of W.Alonso's bid rent curve theory. At last, it introduces the relevant studies at home and abroad.In the part 2, the theory frame of the influence of land price on the urban land-use is set up. This chapter analyse the characteristics of urban land rent, land price and temporal-spatial pattern of urban land use. On the basis, it analyse the influence of land price on the urban land-use in theory from four aspects: land develop, land supply, land intensified utilization and land-use structure. Then it studies the facts of land price, the reasons for land price catabolized in our country and the influence of land price policy on the urban land-use.In the part3, the empirical study is given.
