Research On Industrial Cluster Issues Of Jilin Province

Industrial Cluster, also called Enterprise Cluster, is a phenomenon in a certain area, where numbers of enterprises with close industrial relationship and their supporting organization cluster in space to produce a strong and continuous predominance within industry. Form the perspective of industrial development, Industrial Cluster is characterized by geographical adjacency, industrial elements sharing, mutual complement of industry chain, fast knowledge creating speed within industry. Industrial Cluster is a world-wide economic phenomenon, and we notice that predominant enterprises in competition mainly exist in some certain areas in both developed and developing countries. The reason why Industrial Cluster attracts too much attention is that it can promote an industry to form a strong competitiveness. Once an industrial cluster forms, a country or a district will produce its international competitiveness in many aspects, such as final products, output equipments, upriver supply and customer services etc.Based on industrial clusters theory, through analyzing current situations of Industrial Cluster in Jilin Province, this paper aims to find out salient problems that exit currently in the development of Industrial Cluster of our province, and to analyze the reasons that lead to these problems. Besides, using the successful experiences abroad on Industrial Cluster as reference, this paper also will give some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the healthy development of Industrial Clusters in our province.
