Study On The Predominance Of Emphasized Industrial Clusters Of Baoji

Industrial cluster is a distinctive economic organization form in the process of modern economy. Since the implement of the Reform and Open Policy, with the high-speed growth of the economy, Chinese industrial clusters in different professions have developed vigorously and extendeded all over the world. Industrial clusters impel the development of regional economy greatly in China. However, not all industrial clusters are successful and not all of them have their own evident competitive predominance and can maintain a long-time competitive power. We also see a lot of abortive cases about industrial clusters. So we have the necessity to do the fundamental research and the demonstration analysis on the competitive predominance of industrial clusters, only though this way can we enhance their advantages and avoid their disadvantages and exert their own predominance completely to avoid their development barrier.This article gives us a pectination, reorganization and analysis on research results about industrial cluster of domestic and foreign scholars based on the general theories of industrial clusters. The article chooses Baoji as the object of this study which is an important industrial town in Shaanxi, uses investigation and research method, compared research method, demonstration analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis method to carry on the research on the competitive predominance of five industrial clusters with obvious predominance in Baoji recently, analyzes separately their advantages and disadvantages, at the same time, this article classifies 29 industries in Baoji into three types: Compared Predominance Industry, Potential Predominance Industry and Compared Inferior Position Industry by calculating the Location Quotient values. At the end, this article offers some countermeasures and suggestions to the development of Baoji's industrial clusters.
