Research On Quality Management Of Second Academy's Project Development Based On Product Assurance

With the rapid development of modern science and technology and the upgrade of tactical and technical requirements for weaponry in national defense building, China's weaponry development has been characterized by high-tech and has marked high quality, trending towards pursuing comprehensive effectiveness of weaponry, which gives a severe challenge to the national defense industry and the development, production and quality management of national defense equipment."To fulfill the task of development and production of high-tech weaponry on schedule successfully"is the centre of all the technological and management work of the military academies and institutes undertaking development tasks. Therefore, it has been a problem demanding prompt solution that the military academies and institutes are facing to explore new thoughts and methods for weaponry development and management both suitable for the development characteristics of high-tech weaponry and conforming to the national conditions of China.This paper makes research from the angle of view of quality management in the process of aerospace project development based on product assurance. Firstly, it makes theoretical research related with product assurance, generalizes the concept and connotation of product assurance, introduces the application experience of product assurance in aerospace great powers and makes comprehensive comments in such aspects as purpose, characteristics and overall organization frame of product assurance. Secondly, it discusses and explains the characteristics of Second Academy's project development as well as the mismatch between the traditional quality management pattern and the requirements of project development. Finally, on the basis of theoretical research of Chapter 2 and analysis of existing problems in traditional quality management pattern of Chapter 3, it puts forward that only the quality management pattern based on product assurance can be applicable to the characteristics and requirements of current aerospace project development.
