Electric power industry is the basic and important industry in national economy, which provides the basic guarantee to keep the industrial economy's robust running and stable development. Safety management is a fundamental and essential task in power supply enterprises. It is the prerequisite to fulfill safety management including making safety evaluation and finding out the current safety management situation completely. In this thesis, the power supply enterprises'safety evaluation indexes, factors right, and evaluation methods are studied in order to solve the problems of safety evaluation in power supply enterprises.Firstly, the introduction and methods of safety evaluation are presented, then the emerging problems are found out based on the safety evaluation situation of our country's power supply enterprises. Furthermore, the safety evaluation indexes system of power supply enterprises which includes three subsystems: safety human factors evaluation, product equipments safety evaluation, safety management & safety culture evaluation is reconstructed by catching up with the academic foreland research and utilizing safety system engineering theory. A more comprehensive and scientific new evaluation system is found in this way.Secondly, AHP method has been applied to determine the right of all factors of safety evaluation indexes system in power supply enterprises and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is utilized to avoid the effect of subjective factors, which makes the evaluation system more scientific and accurate.Finally, a case study in Xinjiang KELAMAYI petroleum bureau demonstrates that the new evaluation system adapts to the power supply enterprise successfully; moreover, the problems of power supply enterprise's safety system was found and the optimized proposal was presented based on this new evaluation system.
