The Research Of BOT Project's Risks And Risk Management

BOT(Build-operate-transfer)is one of the most important financing model which is initiated in 80s 20 century. Because of the unique advantages this method plays a significant role in the modern infrastructure construction. The key way for the success of this financing way is to reduce and distribute risks reasonably.This dissertation focuses on the risks and the factors which are related with a deep research of the BOT model. This article is definite the concept and operation ways and analyzing the contract and characters of this method as well. Associating with its characters, this article also classifies and analyses the risks of BOT mode and establishes a method which depends on indistinct comment method to appraise the degree of the influence of the risk factors.This dissertation put theories and practices together to discuss the BOT financing model. On the base of analysis of the risk management strategies, this article represents three typical BOT projects to give a deeper explanation which summarizing successful management experiences of this financing mode and putting forward the central problems while it implements in China. Finally, effective suggestions are also given to aim at such problems in order to be used for references of BOT financing mode risk management.
