Since new century comes, this problem has aroused the people attention again in a new round of the economic growth.Base on summarizing the history and actuality of regional industrial structure evolvement in the whole and the part of China, this paper established the tendency to similarity evaluate system of regional industrial structure, and calculated the degree of industrial and manufacturing similarity and specialization in the whole and the part of China, made empirical analysis on the similarity situation and tendency of regional industrial structure in our country between 2000 and 2004, made conclusion that the tendency to similarity of regional industrial structure was not strictness in the whole of country , but it happened in the part of region and industry mainly, such as Jiangsu and Zhejiang, Jiangxi and Hubei , the obvious tendency to similarity has existed.Then, the paper analyzed the tendency to similarity mechanism of Chinese industrial structure in the long time, the reason of the differenced tendency in the whole of country and the similar tendency in the part of country. At the same time, the paper researched the rationality and the harm of regional industry structure similar tendency.At last, the paper suggested that the commonly principle and the pass dependence of our country industrial structure harmonious development and optimization, included in quickening technology innovation, combining regional resource, improving market economy, deepening system reform, and consummating the Macro-Manipulation. In the paper, it also presented some new point of view, such as the mode of junior country exploitation, promoting the ability of independence innovation, developing one-and-half industry.
