In this thesis diagnosis and analyses of optimal human resource deployment for Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology are focused on. In regard to the situation of the human resource management in Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology, some policy suggestions of human resource development and optimal deployment for this institute are put forward.Starting with related material and data collected, the existing human resource situation is analyzed systematically. Based on existing researches on general human resource development and optimal deployment, and taking into consideration the situation in Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology (SRIPT), theory of human resources, questionnaire method, statistical technique and so on are used to do diagnoses and analysis of the situation of the human resource management in Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology, with three modes of human resource development and optimal deployment for SRIPT developed. In particular, the method of job analysis, writing position explanation and Weight Grade Method are applied to analysis and evaluation on benchmarking positions in SRIP. Therefore, the result from this thesis plays an important role in reorganization and setting up an assessment system and emolument system in SRIPT in future.
