Study On Harmonious Development Of Regional Economy Of Yantai City

Three different areas, the center framer, the north inshore framer and the south framer, have been formed during the process of developing in YanTai city. Many causes such as resource, economic foundation etc, can be found to interpret this gap. The reality is that the gap among this three parts is enlarged. Some measures must be made to harmonize the development of three areas. The motivation of this paper is just to found primary elements induced the difference and study a series of measurements for the harmonious development of this three areas.This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is theoretical foundation. This part reviews the concepts and theories about harmonious development, summarizes out the common ground of those theories about harmonious development.The second part is research approach. The thesis analyses the development state of every area with two levels, namely the analysis of economic pattern and the analysis of main elements for difference. The paper analyses the main patterns of YanTai city in 1999 and 2004 through an approach of systemic clustering analysis, calculates the distances between every two patterns, the result of this part is very important, all later parts of the paper rely on this analysis; Moreover, on the basis of analyzing the maximum distance of all patterns, confirms the main elements which induced the difference among areas in YanTai city.The third part is the research of the development of every town or county of the YanTai city. Based on the approach narrated ahead, the paper analyses the problem of every area, and provides the countermeasures for future development.The fourth part of the thesis is the countermeasures and suggestions about the harmonious development of YanTai city as a whole. On the foundation of concrete analysis in the third part, this part puts forward the concrete policy proposals and measures aiming at the harmonious development.
