The development of watch & clock industry in our country is slow at present. The benefit is dropped. Most of the products exported are low class. On contrary, the production of Switzerland is only 3% of the worldwide production, but their export products are of 40%. Although our country is super country of producing watch & clock, we are not the strong country. We are at the base of the pyramid.More and more foreign brands are trying their best to occupy the China market. As the domestic retailing business is opening to foreign capital, the foreign manufacturers found their distribution channels independently while on the other hand, the domestic distribution channels are restrict to the brand's opening account requirement, and also exclude the domestic brands; the price war among the domestic brands. All these will make the domestic market even smaller.The competition environment changes a lot for the enterprises. How to develop the domestic enterprises when they have to compete directly with the strong brands in the world? No matter subjectively or objectively speaking, the Chinese enterprises have to work out the marketing plan according on their advantage.By comparing and analyzing the marketing cases between Swiss watch & clock industry and the domestic enterprises, this article explore the brand tactic and the different marketing tactic for our watch producing enterprises. Brand tactic is the famous brand tactic which means increasing the market occupancy through founding the famous brand. In the global environment, the core competitive force for the modern enterprises should be related to the product (service) brand. They are restricting to each other and depend on each other. The different marketing tactic is according to the different taste and requirement of the consumer, the enterprises should decide the products and service which are different to the same kind of products and service. Base on the characteristic of the watch consumption in our country, and the situation of the development of our enterprises, the brand tactic and the different marketing tactic are the key point for our watch enterprises development.
