Risk Management Of EPC Project

At present, a perfect system of risk management has come into being in other countries , but the opinion about the risk management of EPC leaves much to be desired in China. Combined with the characters of EPC project, through the lifecycle figure of risk management of the project, this paper explores the structure of the risk management of EPC project and probed into the whole process of risk identification, risk evaluation and risk planning. Based on the hazard identification figure and fault tree analysis, combined with the demand of the health safety and environment system, the risk management of EPC project is discussed especially. This paper attempts to put forward a system of risk management of EPC after working over the all phases, in favor of promoting the project target's realization.At last, this paper conduct a case study according to the foregoing discussion. Based on the work breakdown structure, in virtue of hazard source figure, the risk identification and risk evaluation are conducted. According to the characteristics of the project, the measures to reduce the relevant risk are advanced aiming at the different risk. At the same time, HSE is applied to analyze the relevant phases of risk management, and the execution of different aspects including cost, schedule, and quality management is discussed seperately in order to manage the risk effectively.
