| Based on summarizing the former studies of ways to efficiency of M&A of banking, this paper chooses Operating Performance Study (OP) to analyse the efficiency of M&A in China's bank at fist. Then this paper use Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) to test the Technical Efficiency (TE),Allocative Efficiency (AE) and Cost Efficiency (CE) of M&A in sample banks in order to make up some disadvantages of OP. The results of two ways are similar, and the efficiency of M&A in sample banks isn't good.To explain the phenomenon, the paper point out four factors which affect the efficiency of M&A in china's bank, such as: the behavior of government, the single model of M&A in banking, the weakness of capital market and neglecting the combination work after M&A of banking. At last, this paper put forward some policy suggestions. |
