Study Of Coordinating Development Between Urban Water Conservancy And Economy Of Yangtze Delta Area

Water is an important resource and environment carrier. Urbanization is an inevitable tendency of the social economy development. With the development of economy and the acceleration of urbanization process, some cities, such as cities in Yangtze Delta Area, have had many problems of water—shortage of water resources, degradation of water environment , and water ecological damage. As an important infrastructure of national economy and social development, water conservancy is the basis of urban economic development , but is also restricted and affected by social economic development. Taking Yangtze Delta Area as an example, this dissertation analyzed the interaction relations of water conservancy and economy. The connotation of urban water conservation in the new economic period was defined, and the coordination degree of urban water conservancy and economy was analyzed quantitatively. The main contents are as follows:Firstly, starting with the promotion of economic development through water conservancy, the negative influence which the urban economic development adds on water, and the interaction relations of them, based on the new request of urban economic development on water conservation, the connotation of urban water conservation in the new economic period was defined.Secondly, based on the theories of coordinated, development and coordinated and development, according to the characteristics and development trend of economic in Yangtze Delta Area, the coordinated development system of urban water conservation and economy was defined , and the index system with 68 indexes was constructed. By reviewing relevant norms and standards both at home and abroad, the calculating methods and reference values of the indexes were determined in different economic periods.Thirdly, through analysis of Logistic growth curve and simplification of the formula, the evaluating model and classification system of urban water conservation and economy coordinated development was constructed on the basis of set pair analysis (SPA).Finally, the index system and evaluating model were applied to Shanghai Minhang District, and the example' s calculation proved that the result is in accordance with the development of water conservation and economy in practice basically. Then, some advises and suggestions for future development of water conservation in Minhang District were proposed.
