Research On Coordinated Development Between Agricultural Water, Environment And Economy In Arid Area

As a substance to protect human survival, the shortage of agricultural water resources is becoming an important challenge threatening human sustainable development, especially with the increasingly fierce competition between agricultural water and industrial water, there is limited room for growth of agricultural water resources,and the over-exploitation and waste of water resources bring about a series of ecological and environmental problems. Therefore, coordinate the relationship between agriculture water resources, the environment and economic, particularly in arid regions has become more important.Zhangye City was identified as the Chinese first pilot water-saving society by the Ministry of Water Resources of the People’s Republic of China, as is located in the middle reaches of the Hei River which is China’s second largest inland river, consume more water resources, to protect downstream areas of agricultural economic development and ecological environment protection, balance of the ecosystem of the Hei River Basin, to study the relationship of coordination between agricultural water resources and the environment, economic has a typical and representative.This paper based on analyzing the state of agricultural water resources and the environment, economic development in Zhangye City,and analyzing the mechanism of interaction, and then uses the principal component analysis method to analyze indicators about agricultural water resources and the environment, economics of the three internal water-saving pilot in Zhangye City(Ganzhou District, Gaotai County,Linze County), and evaluated the degree of coordinated development according to the model of the coordinated development. The study found that, in general although the degree of coordination of the three regions gradually improving, but still in the initial stage of coordination or barely coordination, especially Gaotai County located downstream of Ganzhou District and Linze County, its degree of coordination is weak. Finally, for the current situation and problems of agricultural water resources in Zhangye City, combined with the relationship of coordinated development between agricultural water resources and the environment,economic, put forward relevant countermeasures, aims to provide reference for the socio-economic sustainable development of strategies in study area and other similar areas.
