Study And Design Of Flexible Supplier Appraisal And Selction Information System

Along with the economic globalization and the rapid development of science and technology, the environment for enterprise survival had changed greatly. That kind of stable commercial environment which had appeared before has already never returned. Suppliers are important part of the enterprise necessary survival environment. In this case, the methods used for supplier's Appraisal and selection also have changed from static to dynamic. The main aim of this article is to study and construct a flexible supplier's appraisal and selection system, and to develop software to assistant enterprise to work on it.At first the related theory about supplier's appraisal and selection and concept about flexible are expounded, and objective review about the domestic and foreign research situation is presented in this paper. The model and method, selection criterion to the existing main suppliers are also induced. Second, based on full analysis and reference the related theory and method used for the domestic and foreign suppliers appraises, a flexible supplier appraisal and the selection system has been constructed, which include the product quality, the cost, the cooperation ability, the service level, the enterprise resources and the environment, the enterprise develops potential. The system's flexibility can be presented as fellow, different type suppliers can have different selection criterion system, criterion and weight in the appraisal system can be adjusted according to the enterprise actual situation. Qualitative criterion has given rule and can be changed. Finally, a flexible supplier's appraisal and selection system is designed, and the system structure, work flow and realization are elaborated. Eight modules are included in this system, which are system controls, the data management, the appraisal criterion management, weight setup, integrated appraisal of the suppliers, appraisal result treatment, help and system outputs. This will serve as a powerful help to select suppliers for many enterprises.
