Research On Service Industry System Of Modern Cities

Recently, service industry has gradually become more and more important to the development of modern cities with the continuous progress of economics and society. It is significant that modern cities build the Service Industry System (SIS), which is the necessity of transforming industrial structure and improving coordination of economy, environment and society. Building SIS is also helpful to adapt economical development, to find new economical increasing point, and to enhance living quality and enterprises'effectiveness.Under this background, this thesis indicates the realistic meaning, strategy objective and developing notion of building SIS, combined with existent theories and status of modern cities'service industry. Then, on the basis of that, this thesis constructs SIS of modern cities, which is composed of supportive system, market system, security system and creative system. Afterwards, the author employs principal component analysis and cluster analysis to evaluate SIS competence of 16 modern cities. In the last chapter, this thesis analyzes service industry of Tianjin as demonstration, indicates the strategy of SIS, forecasts related indexes and establishes measures to improve SIS of Tianjin.There are three creative points as below:(1) Construct SIS of modern cities, including supportive system, market system, security system and creative system.(2) Establish indexes to evaluate SIS competence of modern cities and rank SIS competence of 16 cities.(3) Use SIS of Tianjin as an instance and constitute the developing strategy for Tianjin.
