From both the course and future of nuclear power development in China, the Study of Nuclear Power Project Management Modes will have important realism meaning for nuclear power project in ChinaWith study to the guide to nuclear project management mode of IAEA and major international project management modes at the beginning, followed by the study to the oversea nuclear management modes through concluding and analysis, main-stream oversea nuclear management mode, it is concluded that AE-mode, was the mode most widely adopted by the nations with dimensional- nuclear power development all over the world.After review to the development course and major modes formulated in the project management system of China, concluding and analyzing method was adopted to the study of the modes of six nuclear power projects built and under construction in China similarly, it was concluded that management modes of Qinshan Phase II and Ling'ao turn out to be two of the most representative modes capable to cover all of the nuclear power projects both built and under construction basically.During the process of comparison to aforesaid modes, all-aspects and whole process comparison studies were implemented to the management mode of design, construction, commissioning, project management, owner organization chart, over-all management, character of each individual project, project implementation outline and effects, then, problems in common and each individual management modes were found out.Thereafter,based on the analysis to present nuclear project construction capacity in China, fundamental principle and philosophy should be persisted for selection of nuclear power project management modes were clarified and suggestions were proposed to government authorities, owners and suppliers respectively. Tentative scheme of PMC mode was proposed to future project by"import-technology, Sino-foreign cooperation"and a two-step EPC mode (AE Company) tentative plan was proposed for"self-determination (localized)"project.
