The Research On The Index System And Evaluation Of Economical Urban Water Conservation

Urban water conservation is an important part in constructing an economical society. The basic knowledge and whole situation of water resources in China is introduced, the major problems existing in urban water conservation are analyzed, and the urgency and necessity of saving water in urban area from the aspect of constructing an economical society is discussed. Focus has been put on factors that can affect water conservation in urban area in China, and then the index system on urban water conservation is established. According to the situation of urban water conservation and characters of index system for urban water conservation, the fuzzy comprehensive method is established. In order to verify the effect of the model, an experiment research has been conducted on the situation of urban water conservation of Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province in 2003. In the last part of the thesis, the proposals for the development of water conservation in urban area in China are proposed.
