Study On The Management Of The Virtual Organization

Facing the prompt but uncertain change of the market, the key factors of any company seeking for surviving and developing are evolving over high flexibility and prompt responses. Therefore, the virtual organization which aims at prompt responding to the change of the market has been broadly applied in many industries. However, it is too hard to get a solution for carrying out the effective management of this new organization form. At the same time, the management theory research of the virtual organization is still in the initial stage and cannot guide the correlative practical activities of the virtual organization now. Just under such backgrounds, this paper mainly discusses the agility evaluation and strategic management of the virtual organization based on carrying out the survey to domestic and international relative research documents. The full paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter one is of the introduction. This chapter gives theoretical background and the significance of this research, and then there is a summery of the domestic and foreign researches on relative fields. Based on the analysis, the main contents of thepaper are put forward. Chapter two is the theoretical summary of the virtualorganization. This chapter analyses the background and broad theoretical basis of thevirtual organization, defines its implication and classification, and then analyzes characteristics of the virtual organization. Chapter three is the structure model and agility valuation of the virtual organization. First of all, this chapter analyzes the key factors of designing the structure model, the common structure model and the characteristics of three structure models. Then it makes a primary study on the agility evaluation, analyses the definition of the agility, and looks back the research findings of the agility evaluation.
