The Study Of Industrial Cluster Based On FDI Technology Spillover

Firstly,this paper explains that technology spillover of FDI and its effect on the formation and development of industrial cluster exist after the regions of Taiwan,Shenzhen and Suzhou are analyzed about their actualities and experiences. Through the analysis by game theory,this paper analyzes the technology spillover and cooperative innovation between FDI and Domestic Corporation in cluster. Such a conclusion is drawn: Technology spillover makes external economies between FDI and Domestic Corporation. The external economies are correlative with the assimilation and the innovative capability of domestic corporations. So is technology spillover with innovation of cluster effect.Subsequently, this paper brings forward the three networks of technology spillover under the form of industrial cluster and the phases of industrial cluster droved by FDI. Combined with these theories of technology spillover and industrial cluster, this paper analyzes the mechanism systemically about how FDI works on industrial cluster. Research shows, both advantage and disadvantage are brought to industrial cluster by FDI and its technology spillover. But advantage has more effect.In the part of demonstration, the case of the Dongguan characteristic cluster is analyzed in the developing opinion. The paper analyzes the spillover actuality of Dongguan. The course of industrial cluster driven by FDI is summed up. Three networks of technology spillover under the form of industrial cluster and the phases of industrial cluster driven by FDI are verified. At last, the corresponding structure model of Dongguan IT industry is been established based on the forenamed model and theories.
