China nuclear power is developing very fast. In the following fifteen years. At least two 1000 MWe nuclear power units will be built every year. Installed capacity will be 40000 MWe in 2020. It takes 4 percent in total power capacity. Nuclear Engineering Research & Design Institute lay down the strategy to meet the future nuclear power need.The strategy is studied in this article to analyze reasonable and feasibility. It will help the strategy put into practice.In the article , it first introduces the China nuclear industry history and the institute background. In the second section, it introduces the strategy briefly , included the guiding ideology , overall strategy, business strategy and guarantee method. In the third section ,it analyze the strategy ,the PEST analysis method and Porter five compete power analysis method is used to analyze the macro and micro environment. SWOT analysis method is used to analyze the internal and external environment. In the fourth section, the strategy reasonable is studied deeply. The overall ,business strategy is studied to analyze their reasonable and feasibility. At last, practice suggestion is studied to guide the future work.It is the first time to study the engineering strategy. The character and tend can be known in the article.The result can be get in the article. It is a good time for institute to develop. The structure of the strategy is overall and reasonable. The strategy conforms the long-term science and technical plan. The develop direction is correct. The different business strategy conforms the country power direction. The strategy guarantee method supports the overall and business strategy.
