Measure Research On Improve The Endogenous Innovation Capability Of Nanjing Information Industry

2006 is the beginning year of Nation Eleven-Fifth Plan. In the background of building Innovation-Oriented Society brought forward by the 16th National Congress of Communist Party of China(16th NCCPC), indigenous innovation has been mentioned in the nation's strategy. Moreover, the Information Technology industry is a knowledge-intensive industry which is founded on information and knowledge; it's a great power of economy growth and knowledge spreading. Meanwhile, IT industry became an important role in contributing on the other industries'innovation activity and the innovation-oriented nation's building. Therefore, studying on IT industry's capability of innovation is representative and necessary. Under the basis of existing literature and theory, throughout the review of the IT industry of Nanjing, this paper is trying to discuss how to improve IT industry's capability of innovation in the industry layer.Above all, the paper describes the feasibility of research on Nanjing's IT industry, gives a review on the literature of enterprise's technology innovation and industry's as well, and makes a conclusion. The first part analyzes the difference between the innovation of enterprise and industry, and makes a detailed analysis about the signification, characteristic, advantages and disadvantages of it.Second, the paper first analyzes the evolution actuality of Nanjing's IT industry form the point of view on industry layer. Then it shows that Nanjing's IT industry has developed to the level it has to be indigenously innovative, after a crossed analysis from transverse and lengthways view. At last, it estimates the Nanjing's IT industry's capability of innovation, showing its essence and shortages.In the third part of this paper, it established a strategic model of Nanjing's IT industry to analyze its capability of innovation. Based on the result of analysis, the third part discusses on how to improve the capability of innovation, and gives some suggestions.At last, the paper makes a conclusion about the achievements and problems, discussed about the insufficiency points which can be improved during the research. Finally, it gives an expectation on the future research.
