The process data of products is based in the enterprises. It has a major impact on the whole manufacturing system. There has been a lack of optimization of process in the process management system in our country. There has not been collocation between process designing and management in reason. These made the process data not accurate, and hindered the process of enterprise informatization.Industrial Engineering(IE) integrates the management and technology, it forms series system optimization technology, using operations research, system engineering and computer science. IE and process supply with each other. It has a very important action to promote the process standardization and optimization. The traditional CAPP or Process Management System does not combine with IE, so it can not optimize and manage the process with IE technology. This thesis is based on IE, developing a Computer-Aided Process Design and Management System, aimed at integrating the process designing and IE.This subject of the design of the system is according to the Structured Software Development Method. It established the function structure model and information model of the system, using the IDEF modeling technology, and expressed the logic of every module with flow chart. This thesis is divided into next several parts:The first two parts discussed the development and key items of process technology and management, the application of IE technology in the process design and management. It also discussed the correlative theories and technologies about process, IE, System Development Method and so on.The third part studied the integration between process designing and IE, building the whole function model of the Computer-Aided Process Design and Management System with IDEF0 method.The fourth part studied the standard operation unit based on the standardization method and the idea of IE, building the dividing method of standard operation unit. This part also studied the function model, flow chart, information model of the module.The fifth part, using the flow optimization and assembly line balancing method to design the assembly process flow. It built the function model, flow chart, information model of the module of assembly process flow. The last part is about the BOM. This thesis studied the content and the form of BOM, built the flow chart and information model of each type of the BOM. It also discussed how to create the Operation Process Chart according to the P-BOM, and gave an example.
