The consumption, storage and disaster affected the import of cotton directly. The production only played its role before 1991. After 1994, FDI became another important factor to promote the advancement of cotton import. Till now, China has an impact on the world cotton market. But it brought negative influence to the textile industry. So it is important to promote the competence of cotton in China and make the development of cotton import smoothly.
