With economic globalization, Chinese enterprises are facing increasingly fierce competition, which is the core of the competition for talents, thus human resource management is becoming more prominent. In the staff, knowledge workers, due to hold professional skills, are in the dominant position of disposal, management, and use other resources in of the enterprises. Therefore they have become the objects all enterprises compete for. And due to characteristics of knowledge workers, it is difficult to manage them by traditional methods. How to attract and retain knowledge workers to deal with the fierce competition is the key to success.To address this issue, the paper analyses the characteristics of knowledge workers; Through the survey of more than 700 knowledge workers of 9 enterprises, gets the factors that influence the knowledge worker turnover, and from the angle of psychological contract violation explains the inherent mechanism and processes of the influence; proposes the important method of controlling wastage, which is to manage psychological contract of the staffs in the whole process.
