China's insurance market has been keeping a flourish development with China's reform and opening deepening in recent years. There are not only achievements but also problems in China's insurance market. In spite of the fast growing premium income and innovation of insurance products, the recognition of insurance in China is still far from that in developed countries. China's insurance industry has accomplished just within 10 years what the western countries had accomplished with 150 years. But the human resource management level of China's insurance enterprises is far from enough. Human capital is the core competence of enterprises and the running force of the industries. In my opinion,shortage of talents is the most important factor that restricts the development of China's insurance enterprises.This thesis is intended to focus on the discussion on human capital investment risk of China's insurance enterprises. The theory basis of the thesis is Human Capital Investment Theory , Risk Management Theory , Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior Science,etc. I hope to analyze the main problems of human resource management that China's insurance enterprises encounter nowadays and give out some suggestions on the study of other industries.The thesis can be divided into five parts as follows.The preface mainly introduces the background, theory basis, framework and the meaning of the research.Chapter one explains two theories: Human Capital Investment Theory and Risk Management Theory. On the basis of the above theories, I make a definition of human capital investment risk of China's insurance enterprises.In chapter two, the human capital of China's insurance enterprises is divided into five categories: operational and management talents, professional and technical talents, sales talents, risk management talents and common talents. The thesis mainly discusses the former three categories talents. Then it comes into the human capital investment form. Since the education and training investment is the most characteristic human capital investment form of the insurance enterprises, I emphasis the discussion on it. Besides, the article introduces the other two human capital investment forms briefly.Chapter three is the distinction and analysis of China's insurance enterprises'human capital investment risks. This chapter is focused on the discussion on the phenomena, reasons and influences of China's insurance enterprises'human capital outflow risk. In this part, I also analyze the moral risk, encourage risk and match risk of China's insurance enterprises'human capital investment to some extent.Chapter four is the risk management suggestions to China's insurance enterprises'human capital investment, which is of great importance to the whole risk management process. Since human capital investment risks exist in the whole process of human capital investment, and there exists inter-transition among different types of human capital investment risks, I think we should build up the sense of process management of human capital investment risks. Then I give some detailed suggestions in preventing the human capital investment risks of China's insurance enterprises.
