With knowledge economy being arrived at and talented person market competition being keen gradually, key employee turnover has already become the difficult problem that enterprises in China must deeply ponder and then carefully solve. There are three main causes lead to this problem. Firstly, the enterprises will sustain severe losses for running off of key employees who have bright features, create excellent performance and supply continuously core competiveness for them. Secondly, with China entry into WTO and the rapid process of globalization, the competitors of the enterprises are not only from domestic market but also from foreign market, the key link of winning victory in the competition is obtaining the key employees. Finally, the problem of key employee turnover receiving more and more care because of the popularity of "people-oriented management" that promotes staff developing individually.Being directed at these hard factors, this thesis thoroughly analysis the problem of key employee turnover from their features, the current situation, the serious consequence to enterprises and the reason. In the ending of this article, author put forward own view of management tactics and management process of keeping key employees.
