2006 is the last year for China to open the insurance market thoroughly according to the promise of entering WTO. Numerous foreingn capital and joint venture insurance companies will enter the insurance market of China in succession. Only in Xi'An , there will be 4 foreign insurance companies entering the insurance market. So there will be 10 insurance companies rivaling in the market adding six mainland companies who have already existed. The PLS life insurance company has experienced the challenge and press brought by entering of the foreign companies. In the area of HR, the traditional salary system of "One station, One salary" can not keep up with the step of the development of the industry and the market, and can not exert its original stimulant function. Furthermore, it is short of marketable competitive power. All of the above disadvantages have lead the distemperedness of the deterrent mechanism in the company. As a result, the resignation phenomenon of persons with ability always happens. At the same time, because the salary system is exerting the introductory and restricting effect in HR area, the illogical salary system will make the training system, checking system and even the laboring relation system can not be combined correctly, and can not exert their resultful effect following the direction of development of the enterprise.The paper will analyse the problems existing in the current salary system of PLS company aiming at the above status, and bring forward the ameliorating idea with interrelated stimulating theories and tools of management. After that, we will introduce the idea of Broad Band salary and redesign a new salary system to acclimate the alternative of the managing strategic and accelerate the staff's agreement to the value conception of the enterprise. So, we can lead the stuff to pay their attention to their own skill and performance in stead of promotion in position. Accordingly, the salary system can exert its stimulating function in a greater extent, and strengthen the deterrent mechanism to reduce the resignation phenomena of persons with ability. At the same time, in the cause of the design of the salary system, the analysis of stations, evaluation of the stations' value, checking of the performance, also the training function which are based on the salary system have made rapid amelioration and advance. In result, a series of correlative promblems will be solved and the competitive power of the enterprise in the industry will be enhanced.This paper has referenced significance to the alike enterprises as PLS who will introduce the designing idea of Broad Band salary and establish the analysis system of stations, evaluation system of the stations' value, checking system of the performance. |
