Analysis On The Potential Competitiveness Of Commercial Banks Listed

With the acceleration of the reform of China's financial industry and in the face of keen competition from both home and abroad , to become banks listed is inevitable development for our country's banking industry, and how to gain the persistent and strong competitiveness has become the urgent task of Chinese commercial bank at present time. For the summarization of literature, the competitiveness of commercial banks is classified practical competitiveness and potential competitiveness. But the research on the potential competitiveness is few. So our research on the feeblish potential competitiveness of commercial banks listed, and on the basis of analyzing the theories and method of criterion,comparative,demonstration, this dissertation attempts to establish a theoretical framework on the potential competitiveness of commercial banks. That it will guide our joint-stock commercial banks to improve their potential competitiveness which will be translated into stronger international competitiveness. This not only has important significance for the development of China's banking industry, but also has a meaning for deepening the reform of the financial system.This dissertation delves into the general theories and in-depth analysis of the potential competitiveness of commercial banks and in the process tries to put forward policy suggestions on this issue. Structurally, this dissertation analytic clue is that: firstly, on the basis of theory in the competitiveness of commercial bank, this article analyzes the factors on the potential competitiveness of commercial bank; Next, the article appraises relevant methods of what the competitiveness of commercial bank of comparative analysis and preliminarily structures out one set of the potential competitiveness evaluation index system that can suit the shareholding commercial banks of our country. Then, the article relies mainly on the 9 listed shareholding system commercial banks by the end of 2006, and carries on empirical research comparative analysis on these banks by the method of AHP. Finally, it summarizes and analyses the shortages of the listed shareholding commercial banks of our country, and has put forward some relevant suggestions.
