The Development Situation And Countermeasures Studies On The Northern Agriculture Belt In Tong'an District, Xiamen City

Originally, Tong'an was one of the top one hundred national agricultural counties. As the important agricultural base and the garden back of the special economic zone, Xiamen City, the development of the northern agriculture belt of Tong'an district will greatly contribute to the development of economy and society of Tong'an district and greatly impact on the smoothly fast development of Xiamen City. According to the practice and considering upon the development of the northern agriculture belt of Tong'an district, the article introduces the new background and new opportunities of the development in the northern agriculture belt of Tong'an district. Based on the theory studies on the ecological agriculture and tourism agriculture at home and abroad, and after the analysis on the resource condition, the development actuality and the existing problems of the district, the article defines the function orientation and the development ways of the district, i. e. it should go on the developing way of ecological agriculture connected with tourism agriculture, dominated by the ecological agriculture development, giving prominence to the traits of tourism agriculture, and constructing agricultural production bases. The district can be integrated into a modern agriculture belt with ecology, recreation and tourism. The article also demonstrates the necessity and feasibility of developing ecological agriculture in the district, so as to provide a theory and data base for the development of the district. Finally, the article puts forward countermeasures on accelerating the development of the northern agriculture belt of Tong'an district from three aspects, i.e. greatly develop ecological agriculture, promote the development of tourism agriculture and steadily promote the reconstruction of the old villages and new rural construction.
