Competition among shipping agency companies is very fierce because the body of competitors increases more quickly than capacity of markets rises.Affected by the outer-environment, competition among international shipping agency companies in Yingkou port is rather drastic. With the development of the old industry base of the northeast region, port throughput increases more rapidly than before. Under this circumstance, each of these shipping agency companies in Yingkou port faces with the favored development opportunities, and meanwhile with the challenges from both outsiders and their shortcomings. What this thesis put emphasis on analyzes the inner and outside environments, which Yingkou international shipping agency companies are in, and predicts Yingkou port throughput and the reached vessels running on the international routine with the support of the theory of international shipping agency and others interrelated. This can do benefit to shipping agency companies seeing clearly the chances and challenges, which have them adjust their development countermeasure correctly and timely, moreover make decision for them in order to take part in competition actively and gain sustainable development.
