In recent years, with the swift and violent development of tourism and the keen competition of tourist market, both local government and members of tourist world make much account of the problem of image design in sightseeing place. This paper, by analyzing related documents of the city-travel plans at home and abroad and the investigation and the study on the spot, leads the Business CI Thoery to image design of the city-travel. Meanwhile, this paper, on the basis of studying the local travel in Baicheng and the induction in the travel market, studies the whole representations of the city, and initially puts forward the 3s-plan of Baicheng and proposals of the propagation and the extension.First part:the paper has carried on the analysis and the research to the region traveling image design and the elementary theories,and it has also inducted the CIS system. Has carried on the system analysis and research on the enterprise's CI theory. And the papaer inducts the enterprise's CItheory to the region traveling image design and carries on the research. On the basis of the predecessor fundamental research , proposed the basic workflow of the traveling image design of Baicheng city.Second part:The paper has a detailed analysis on the local foundationhas of the city traveling image design.For instance it induces and summarizes the local travel characteristics of Baicheng meanwhile it systemly analyses and estimates the natural resources ,traveling resources ,and the social economy development. Third part: To estimate the travel image and market response. According to the analysis of the local colour of the city travel in Baicheng, the paper involves the estimate and the research analysis of market. For example: Through the analysis on different market area tourists'traveling image and the tourists' preference to the travel landscape,the paper offers the image localization and the travel conception. Fourth part:To locate and design the travel image of Baicheng City.The paper generally designs the travel image ,travellocalization, and 3services plan ,which is on the basis of analyses of the traveling local foundation and market sensation. .The fifth part:The thesis puts forward a detailed counterplan about the design and expansion of the tour image of Baicheng city.
