Issues On Sustainable Development Of Chinese Family Enterprises

The development of family enterprises has made great contribution to the development of the national economy and society. Hence, these enterprises have become one of the indispensable components of our national economy. However, with the deepening of the reform and the influence of the economic globalization, the existing environment of the family enterprises has changed greatly. Their defects in production and management have manifested themselves and therefore hindered their further development. Owing to the great significance of family enterprises on our national economy and social development, research on the present state of these enterprises and their sustainable development under new economic environment has become not only the urgent need of these enterprises but also the need to ensure the healthy development of our national economy. This paper deals with the research in four parts. The first part analyzes the general theory of family enterprises, which establishes a logic start point of the research about the present state of these enterprises and their sustainable development. The second part elaborates on the present development of the family enterprises and the challenges they are facing now in our country. In the third part the article has carried on the elaboration to our country family blood relationship relations pattern, first exhaustively elaborated our country family blood relationship relations pattern's Superiority and limitation. The final part focuses on the sustainable development of the family enterprises in our country. It points out that family enterprise is not just a backward system of enterprise and argues that family enterprise can conduct the effective and rational interaction on modern economy because of its theoretical and practical possibility of sustainable development. It also makes an inquiry into the concrete road to the sustainable development of Chinese family enterprise.The main points advanced in this paper are the following: family enterprise system is not a backward one; the enterprises may not necessarily adopt the management pattern of a family system; family enterprises in China reflect the politics, economy and culture at a certain stage of the time; there is a theoretical and practical possibility for the sustainable development of our family enterprises.
