The digital city is opposite to the traditional city, this is a milestone -like transformation. In this transformation, not only needs to establish a series of cities foundation database, the technical support system. Simultaneously, with the science and technology in the city management application, the city management system also faces the unprecedented transformation. This paper pays the attention on the present question, is a research about realistic question.This paper takes studies in the city management firstly, has made the summary to the patterns and the flaws of our country's traditional city management on the basement of the concepts and contents of modern city management, proposes the question, presents two big historical direction of the city management: the city management transforms to the city government, material city transforms to digital city. Then, this paper introduces the digital city elementary theories, technical constitutions and the application systems. In the core content of this paper, the paper firstly introduced the city digitization management concept, induced two essential methods of the city digitization management: City part management and grid city management. After that, this paper has been doing the example research to the city digitization management, through the example research and the analysis, refined the core and the essence which the city digitization management transformed is: The model of "the single axle" transforms to the model of "double axles", proposed the plan that transforms traditional city management pattern. Then, this paper presents five big superiority and the promoted vital significances of the new city management pattern, put forward four problems should be pay attention to when extending that pattern. At the end, this paper shows the final conclusion.
