Study On The Development Of Frontier Trade Between Inner Mongolia And Mongolia

Frontier trade is one of the special trade form between the adjacent countries,and is the important content of the foreign trade in a country. Frontier trade betweenInner Mongolia and Mongolia has always played an important role in the frontiertrade of China. Frontier trade between Inner Mongolia and Mongolia has developedquickly since the trade relationship was built up between China and Mongolia in1985, and it promoted largely the development of economy and society in the frontierarea between Inner Mongolia and Mongolia. However, there are many handicaps inthe process of development, such as the environment of policy, the constitution ofgoods, the payment and so on. Those handicaps not only bring awful influences to thefrontier trade between Inner Mongolia and Mongolia, but also restrict the higherdevelopment of frontier trade between Inner Mongolia and Mongolia.With China entered the WTO and Western opening and developing strategybeing set up, the frontier trade between Inner Mongolia and Mongolia will play aneven more important role in the foreign trade between China and Mongolia. It is,therefore, an urgent and realistic problem about how to make the most of thecomparative advantages of frontier trade and how to solve the handicaps in thefrontier trade between Inner Mongolia and Mongolia. Firstly, the thesis introduces theconcept and the relative theory of the frontier trade. Secondly, by applying qualitativeand quantitative methods, the author not only analysis the development history andthe present situation of frontier trade between Inner Mongolia and Mongolia, but alsodiscuss the basis of frontier trade between Inner Mongolia and Mongolia, anddemonstrates its influences in national economy. Finally, after disclosing thefavorable and the unfavorable reasons of frontier trade between Inner Mongolia andMongolia, the author puts forward the trade policy and suggestion of frontier trade between Inner Mongolia and Mongolia.
