Business Process Reengineering is a self- effective way, it is helpful for easing the invalid and the overlap process, it can guarantee each part of the process can obtain the greatest degree of increment, bring the profit for the enterprise, and create the value for customers. The former Business Process Reengineering practice mostly begins with the question that is puzzling the enterprise, through the Business Process Reengineering, these questions can be resolved. But this article aims at researching the intrinsic mechanism that between the core ability and the Business Process Reengineering, this research has provided a new way for the practice of the Business Process Reengineering.This research is based on the traditional Business Process Reengineering theory, it aims at rising and innovating the enterprise's core ability, as a starting point, it unifies the two aims organically. This article researches the intrinsic mechanism that between the core ability and the Business Process Reengineering, after the analysis of the traditional Business Process Reengineering theory, through the discussion of different backgrounds between our Chinese and the USA, this article carries out the model of how to carry on the Business Process Reengineering based on the core ability. In addition, this paper also tries to research the exploration analysis of the structure essential factors that supporting the Business Process Reengineering. It aims at assuring the reengineering process and consolidating the achievement. Beginning with the angle of the core ability, the enterprise when it carries on the Business Process Reengineering, not only redesigns the core business process, moreover, along with the process, the policy-makers could better organize the human resource, the physical resource, and the financial resource, establishing the study organization, this also provides the rare turning point for the enterprise organizational structure transforming from the traditional function to the process constructer.This paper's emphasis does not lie in the advancement and the innovation of the theory itself, but in the carefully examine the practice of the Business Process Reengineering theory. The traditional Business Process Reengineering theory still has its value. The paper uses the theory of economic and the management's study analysis method, to explore the intrinsic function and the relation of the core ability and the Business Process Reengineering, this paper carries out the reason why the Business Process Reengineering can improve the core ability of the enterprise, and to provide the support to the application of the Business Process Reengineering theory's practice.
