This article offers the definition for the model of social search, its creation background, analysis of representative network and discussion of business model, which supports the core contention: the model of social search, a new model, is a necessary outcome for local enterprises and businessmen to develop the search service, which meet the requirements of people's usage habits and info acquisition, so the website with this kind of model will be greatly successful if correct marketing and operation provided.According to above mentioned contention, this article researches and analyzes the model of social search by a combination of theory research and case analysis, it mainly comprises following parts:1. First, the clear definition for the model of social search is given from the angle of definition, creation background and main feature, then the long tail theory, six degrees of separation theory, and word-of-mouth marketing theory are used to explain this model in the article.2. Second, analyze the development example of the model of social search in the US and China, including analysis of success and failure for two American leading social search websites as well as comparative analysis of a Chinese and an American website in operation and marketing.3. Third, this article also discusses the effects to Chinese enterprise network sales by the model of social search, and points out the contrary views of enterprises to the model of social search.4. In addition, this article analyzes the restrictions of the model of social search and current difficult situation in making profit, and presents the model of all-for-one-for-all as the future development orientation for this model.5. Finally, this article makes the conclusion by suggestions for the enterprise operating social search websites. It induces the main idea of this article from the angle of overall model, marketing strategy, profiting model, financing and website standing point.
