The concept of psychological empowerment was stem from the theory of empowerment, along with the development of empowerment theory, some researchers argue that managers should not be limited on how to authorize, whether the management measures can be accept by employees should be considered. This article presents a cognitive model of empowerment, it is defined as a cognitive state what individual experienced empowerment, is increased intrinsic task motivation. Referred to the structure of psychological empowerment, there are one-factor-theory, three-factor-theory, and four-factor-theory. But the explanation of the factors of different researchers is not the same.This study explored and confirmed the structure of psychological empowerment of Chinese enterprise staff with the methods of exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Then, regression analysis was used to study the influence of psychological empowerment on correlative variables. At last, variance analysis was used to study the demographic effects on psychological empowerment The results showed: (1)The structure of psychological empowerment of Chinese enterprise staff comprises four factors: self-determination and job value and competency and goal internalization. (2)The result of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the four-factor-model is the best one. (3)Psychological Empowerment influenced job involvement and individual innovation behavior (4)Four demographic variables, gender, educational level, occupation, number of work year, have significant effects on psychological empowerment...
