With the coming of the knowledge economy era, study on knowledge management (KM) has become a hotspot. The appearance of KM provides both the new mentality and the new request for the development of post-evaluation. As an important part of project management (KM), post-evaluation plays a significant role in the fusion of PM and KM.This paper has studied those problems aiming at the fusion of PM and KM, the operation system of post-evaluation and so on. It adds the contribution degree of knowledge management and the contribution degree of knowledge index in post-evaluation. It also has an in-depth study on the post-evaluation feedback, transmission mechanism and the main methods of transmission. The main contents are as follows:(1) Study on the conceptions, characteristics and main contents of post-evaluation and KM, emphasizing the methods of post-evaluation. Based on the research the essential contents of PM and KM, introduce logical framework approach, the method of comparison, success degree method and the AHP method in detail, stressing on the methods of data statistic and forecast..(2) Study on the main contents and corresponding evaluation index of the post-evaluation as well as the method of index establishing. The post-evaluation mainly contents contribution degree of KM, benefit evaluation, sustainability evaluation, project goal evaluation, implementing process evaluation, project influence evaluation and so on, stressing on the necessity, contents and evaluation index of post-evaluation.(3) Compare the two main method of post-evaluation., establish the evaluation process model and ideographically discuss the implementing approach and content of post-evaluation. Especially emphasize the feedback and transmission mechanism and advance a new feedback model, five kinds of system are established to ensure the post-evaluation works effective. Conclude the normally using models of post-evaluation transmitted among organizations. Finally, demonstrate the implementing of post-evaluation and validate what this paper studies with a case of a supervising corporation.
