Study On WeiFang Department Group's Logistics Managing Mode

In company with the increasing deterioration of competitive situation between retail enterprises at home and abroad caused by China's entrance to WTO, it becomes more and more difficult to operate chain retail enterprises. The merchandise information is becoming more and more transparent at buyer's market. Therefore, the competition between enterprises is not the pure competition of the quality of goods and the selling price, but the competition of logistics operation mode.Logistics is the key to chain development. And it is the significant "bottleneck" to restrict the development of chain retail enterprises. Facing with the continuous expanding chain scale and the further opening of logistics market of the large-scale chain retail enterprises, the retail field is sure to experience a series of new split and realignment. All kinds of resources are going to rearrange under the regulation of the market. There is no exception for logistics resources. Supported by advanced logistics operation mode, some superior enterprises will spring up and become the "magnate" in retail field. However, the enterprises with lagging logistics and in an inferior position in competition are going to go bankrupt and be annexed. The competition between chain retail enterprises in 21^st century is the competition of logistics strategy and logistics operation mode. Under the circumstances that the third party's logistics is progressively permeating and gradually becoming the director of enterprises' logistics supply chain, it has become a very urgent and realistic problem for the chain retail enterprises that what kind of logistics operation mode should be taken in order to improve their own key competitiveness.First, according to the modern theory of logistics management, the existing analysis of enterprises' logistics operation, and the present problems of logistics management in Weifang Department Group, the article puts forward three kinds of logistics operation modes, i.e., the operation mode of serial logistics supply chain, the operation mode of parallel logistics supply chain, and the operation mode of integrated logistics supply chain. Among them, the operation mode of serial logistics supply chain is a traditional one that takes " self-run logistics" and " direct-delivery logistics" as its main body; the operation mode of parallel logistics supply chain is one that many kinds of logistics forms, such as the third party's logistics, " self-run logistics", " direct-delivery logistics", etc., coexist; the operation mode of integrated logistics supply chain is a modern one that takes the third party's logistics as its main body, and it is the inevitable choice of the chain retail enterprises after the maturity of the third party's logistics. Secondly, combining the present situation of logistics management in Weifang Department Group, the article proposes the enterprises' choice basis of logistics operation mode and "the operation mode of parallel supply chain" suitable for the Group's necessary development. Finally, from the standpoint of the implementation and control of the mode, the article puts forward the basic frame of business and resources integration, and logistics system construction in Weifang Department Group.
