| Since ancient times, beef has been an important product for the Xinjiang national minority and raising cattle has been an important source of income for the Xinjiang farmers and herdsmen. In recent years, the development of the Xinjiang beef cattle industry has been quite slow when compared with the development of the national beef cattle industry.After joining the WTO, the Xinjiang beef cattle industry will operate in two markets --- the domestic market and the foreign market. There is an urgent need to enhance the competitiveness of the Xinjiang beef cattle industry.With the economic globalization and the international competition, more and more practices indicate that industrial chain management will be a successful strategy to enhance the international competitiveness of agricultural products.The beef industry faces competition at the level of a single enterprise and also at the level of the entire industrial chain.This article brings the Xinjiang beef cattle industry into the industrial chain analysis frame,based on the agricultural industry chain management theory,using economic analysis method of case analytic method,value chain analytic method and so on to research the Xinjiang beef industry chain various links and the link contact.The present work has first describes and analyzes the objective situation of the Xinjiang beef industry by considering cattle production, slaughter and processing, the sales of live cattle and beef,and the beef expends.Then, from four principal aspects---the organization chain, the information chain, the thing flows chain and the value chain of the Xinjiang beef industry to study various links and joint way, the benefit assignment condition.Finally the article summarizes the question which the Xinjiang beef industry chain exists,and offers proposals for enhancing the competitiveness of the Xinjiang beef industry chain. |
