Rural tourism is a new kind of industries developed in last century, has already become a kind of comparatively ripe tourism form in abroad. Rural tourism in our country just rising in the eighties century, go through short development time, develop extremely fast, and already become tourism formed around some large cities and which have certain scale, gradually accepted by a city dweller. The rural tourism resources of our country are abundant, and have a lot of advantage condition to develop rural tourism; there is very broad development space, so it is very important to research exploitation of rural tourism.Sorting out and collecting achievement studied of rural tourism, and know rural tourism preface studied at the dynamic foundation, consult Gansu statistical yearbook, relevant papers and works about rural tourism, combine questionnaire to investigated and analyzed, use Comprehensive analysis, Systematic analysis, comparative analysis, furthermore, through SPSS, Excel and Arcview some analyze tools, to put forward some policies and measure for Lanzhou rural tourism exploitation This thesis consists of 7 parts:Part 1 a detailed introduction rural tourism, including concept, characteristic, type , difference with other tourism form ,and which current study situation in home and abroad .Part 2 have mainly introduced the basic theory about rural tourism, development meaning, development principle, development form and problem existing in development form of rural tourism in our county.Part 3 Use SWOT analytical method to appraisal development condition of Lanzhou rural tourism. Fourth, five, six parts are highlight in this thesis.Part 4 through Analyze tools SPSS, Excel and Arcview etc, has been carried on comprehensive appraisal to distribution of rural tourism resources characteristic in Lanzhou and peripheral area.Part 5 through investigated to small-scale traveler's market, have analyzed and appraised to rural tourism traveler's market of Lanzhou and peripheral area.Part 6 have proposed the development policy of the tourism products.At last, Propose some suggestions and development measure to exploitation of rural tourism in Lanzhou and peripheral area.
