Study On Protection And Tourism Development Of Sichuan Junlian Geopark

Geoheritages belong to the whole human beings. It's the duty of us to protect geoheritages. The best way of protecting geoheritages is to establish geoparks.Junlian geopark is situated in Junlian County, covering an area of about 110km~2. Junlian geopark is a wonderland gifted by nature, characterized by its plenty of spring types and Karstlandform with great scientific and tourist significance.From the global geopark plan and the research of geopark development both home and abroad, the thesis particularly discusses the significance of geopark, and the purpose of geoheritages protection. Acorrding to Geopark Theory and other Theories about geoparks, the author makes a case study of Junlian geopark to investigate its present development and main problems existed. On the basic of investigation on the spot, the thesis expounds the contributing factors to geoheritages, the qualitative and quantitative assessment, and it discusses the problems of geoheritages protection and tourism development of Junlian geopark in detail. Based on theory of the tourism sustainable development, the thesis puts forward the available protection district and measures. Meanwhile, development modle, subject and image orientation, the whole arrangement, functional space allocation, tourism product and route designning are researched detailedly. Finally, it believes that science management will harmonize the relantiongship between the heritages protection and tourism development, which pave the sustainable development way for the geoheritages to "Developing in Protection, Protecting in Development".The thesis gives a futher research on the planning of Junlian geopark, which will provide the important reference for upgradeing geopark image, figureing geopark brands and promoteing regional economy.
