Study On Geoheritage Landscape Features And Formation Of Guanegou Geopark,Gansu Province,China

Guanegou national geopark is located in Dangchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, and it is in a cross zone of the eastern edge of Tibetan Plateau, West Qinling Mountain and Minshan Mountain. Due to the complex geological evolution, the geoheritage landscape have a richtype, high scientific and aesthetic values.It has important significanceto study and analyze the geoheritage landscape in Guanegou national geopark.In this paper, we use quaternary geology as the theory guide, combined with the theory of natural geography,science of tourism resources and tourism geoscience.Based on the geological background and general situation of geological parks, wesystematacially expoundthe geoheritage landscapefeatures, and analyze the geologicalorigin, evolution and the processes and mechanismsof geoheritage landscape.Finally we put forward the Geopark landscape protection measures.We have following results and conclusions:(1)We classify the geoheritage landscape scientifically, analyze the landscape features and make the qualitative and quantitative evaluation. We divide the geoheritage landscape into 6 maincategories, 14 categories, 21 subcategories;analyzethe characteristics of the geological cross-sectional, geologic structure, geomorphologic landscape and water landscape;make the evaluationand theresult shows that the geological cross-sectional, geologic structure, geomorphologic landscape and water landscape have a high aesthetic and scientific value.(2)Using geology, physical geography theories and methods, we analyzethe landscape features' formation conditionsfrom the formation lithology, tectonic setting, Quaternary glaciation, hydrological conditions, new tectonic movement and gravitational process and other aspects; then we analyze formationprocess of geoheritage landscape, we divideit into 4 stages, which are the intraplate extension stage, intracontinental superposition orogeny stage,quaternary glaciationstage and the postglacial periodstage; finallywe analyze the formationprocess of geological cross-sectional, geologic structure, geomorphologic landscape and water landscapeconcretely.(3)We summarize the current situation of geoheritage landscape's protection and development; discuss the main factors influencing the destruction of geological heritage landscape from naturalfactorsand human factors and analyze the damage risk of bedding plane structure and water landscape; then we made the following recommendations: improve the management, establishthe quarantine measures,intensifying publicity and education of low-carbon tourism, establish a scientific tour route, divert the touristsreasonablely.
