| Presswork industry is becoming an great scale trade in our country and keeping annualgrowth rate at two digits. Along with the gradual establishment of the uniform nationwidemarket of presswork, competition between presswork enterprises has been outspreaded in anationwide scope. As a state-owned presswork enterprise for books and periodicals, whichbelonged to the Governmental Organs for Journalism and Publication, Guangxi NationalityPress Factory has lost its power for competition in the marketing tidal wave gradually, faced asliding of benefit and barged up against obstacle in its way of development. Nowadays, howto employ its own superiority, to buildup the power of competition and to keep its existingleading footing in combination with exterior environment of the enterprise, has become asignificant task for presswork enterprises. Establishment and implementation of correctstrategy have been associated with the fortune's wheel for the enterprise.This article hopes to can-y out investigation, clean-up and analysis to the exteriorenvironment of the enterprise and the environment of the same trade through research ondevelopment strategy of Guangxi Nationality Press Factory, and has probed into discussionabout development strategy of this enterprise in combination with analysis on its internalresource and capacity and exertion of strategic planning tools. In this way, two targets will bereached: the first is that a proper strategy is found for the development and grown-up of thisenterprise; the second is that the problems which fall across presswork enterprises for booksand periodicals when they have reached a certain scale. This is to offer useful help tocongener enterprises.This article is divided into six chapters. Chapter one is introduction, which introduces thebackground, used theory and method for the thesis; chapter two analyses the externalmacroscopical environment in which Guangxi Nationality Press Factory locates; chapter three analyses the environment in which the presswork industry locates and subdivides the marketof presswork for convenience of further analysis, and moreover, the structure of the pressworkindustry is analyzed using the Porter Five Force Module; chapter four analyzes the internalconditions of this enterprise; chapter five sets down the strategy, assesses the internal andexternal environment of the enterprise using EFE and IFE, sets down optional scheme usingSPACE, Grand Strategy Matrix and SWOT Matrix, and finally uses QSPM Matrix tocompare optional schemes and educe conformable development strategy; chapter six probesinto a discussion on the key measures for implementation of the strategy and outspreads thediscussion on three aspects: adjustment of organization, configuration of resource andestablishment of the leading body. |
