Electricity construction, particularly the power grid construction is closelylinked with healthy development of the national economy and people's livelihood. Asthe development and the establishment of the socialist market economy and therapid development of national economic, the people's higher living standardsincreasing electricity demand increased significantly. This set new requirement toestablish a large, standardized management, high technological content, goodeconomic returns power grid s. For this, with the aim of "Responsible for thegovernment, and services for the five provinces and regions, " China SouthernPower Grid Company vigorously strengthens the power grid constructioninvestment. During the 11th Five-Year Plan 234 billion yuan will be invested in fiveprovinces to further improve network architecture, for enterprises and the provisionof better public services.As the power grid project needs great investment, involves widely and givesgreat impact on the national economy, we should pay more systematic analysis onthe power grid project risks, to avoid blind investment and reduce investment riskand improve returns of investment. This is to promote the healthy development ofthe national economy needs, but also ensure the interests of the investors.The purpose of this study is to provide the construction and management ofelectricity power sector information of forming a project risk management system.This thesis analyzes the risk of a power grid project, based on the Experience of the220kV BOLUOYUAN power transmission project, to pursue the sources and thegeneral law of the risks of power grids project, and Analyzes the possible risks of theprocess of building such a project at each stage, the emerged risks from technology,market, project management, the region's economy, government's policy. On riskanalysis, this paper introduces profit-and-loss balance analysis, sensitivity analysisand other investment risks economic quantitative analysis method, and discusses more on the risk management of power grid investment and the preventionmeasures. In the risk analysis, from the view of the power grid project investmentsside, the author expounds and proves the risks of a power grid project investment inthe course of the previous development period, construction period and operationperiod, and put forward risks management method in each period.
