Pre-Project Evaluation On The 2×600MW Expansion Project Of Hebei Longshan Power Plant

The 2×600MW expansion project in Hebei Longshan power plant of the State Power Corporation is built in fine conditions owing to the first stage construction project of the power plant. It will well resolve conflict between power supply and demand, and play important part in promoting economy development of this district. As it's finished, the old four generating units of 50MW will be close down, so as to improve energy utility level while reduce energy consumption in local economy.The paper first introduce conditions of Hebei southern grid to put forward the necessity of the expansion project, then grey forecasting technology GM(1,1)is applied to forecast the power load, so a conclusion is drawn that the power demand of Hebei southern grid is tremendous. The project is proved to be feasible in location, sources supply, investment estimation and economic benefit evaluation. It is also proved that the expansion project of the power plant will not produce great unfavorable effect on environment from the aspect of exhaust fumes, waste water, waste residue, noises, etc. Finally, a conclusion is drawn and the present problems that need settling are pointed out.
