Lean Production as a new modern production methods, which can fully eliminate waste, reduce business costs, and can significantly enhance their productivity, has been promotion all over the world. In current, studies focused on the production of Lean management thinking, particularly internally, the majority of studies are superficial introductory. As for putting the production of specific models of the quantitative analysis and optimization of operational research has lagged behind, for putting up model to study the performance of the production is less. The topic is on the current issues, trying to build models to be analysed in order to optimize the accuracy of the service performance of production lines and further analysis of its profits. My first study of this topic is the implement Lean production status, problems and solutions in China, and then apply Markov Decision Programming (MDP) theory, studied the arrival control of a failure prone product line M/M/1 queue,in which if an order is rejected, the penalty cost is included. The optimal policy of Finite horizon discounted cost and Infinite horizon discounted cost were given. Third studied a single removable and non-reliable server in the N policy M/M/1 queueing system, distribution. The steady-state results are derived and it is shown that the probability that the server is busy is equal to the traffic intensity. Cost model is developed to determine the optimal operating N policy at minimum cost. And my last work of this thesis is using queueing theory design a new lean product line.
