The quantitative analysis of Risk-based Inspection was used to analyze the equipments and pipelines of the Synthesis Gas Plant of Daqing Petrochemical Company by using BV's RB. eye software. The result showed that 21% of equipments and 22% of pipelines in the plant were in medium-high risk zone. The quantitative RBI technique was used to analyze the Risk of DEA Regenerator, and invalidation likelihood, consequence and risk grade of the each component of Regenerator were obtained. The corrosion mechanism for the DEA Regenerator has been analyzed by the risk assessment results and corrosion case. The result showed that the risk grade of the regenerator head was medium; and its upper shell was low; the lower shell and bottom were medium-high. The chief corrosion factors of the Regenerator are consisted of the degrading of MDEA, CO2 and H2S, and corrosion under insulation. The steps of the qualitative and semi-quantitative analysis were introduced in detail. The qualitative and semi-quantitative RBI technique were used to analyze the Risk of the Cracking Plant of certain petrochemical enterprise. The risk grade of workshop sections were concluded. The result showed that 25.3% of equipments were in medium-high risk zone. The suggestions about further development of RBI works in the future in China were proposed.
